Chinese government has collabrated with some of most the powerfull companies in US like Google, Yahoo, Microsoft and Cisco systems to tackle internet censorship and the market in China.
However the problems that US companies and Chinese gorvernment face is the advancing technology and how the Internet systems could be harm by the communist Regime in Beijing and aim to "pre-democracy activist".
Mr Smith argues that "US technology companies today are engaged in a similar sickening collaboration, decapitating the voice of dissidents. Women and men are going to the gulag and being tortued as a direct result of information handed over to Chinese officials".
In addition Yahoo defend that "the presence of the Internet in China did good, even when censored". Google site in China also blocks many results on polically sensitve terms such as "Taiwan", "Tibet" or "Tiananmen Square".
Although this is a good oppoturnity for the Chinese gorvernment and US companies to work together in supporting and developing the internet in China but it also create an opportunity for the communist regime to resist the gorvernment.
